My first attempt at a backlight controller

Used just plain store bought leds and switch, soldiered to the battery terminals.
Leds don't really heat up especially really low power ones, i mean if you left it on for like 40 hours it may get warm.

For a first attempt that's pretty sick. If the objective is to not have those two small pinkish-hue parts not to shine through the opaque white parts (and only around the analog sticks and through the clear parts like the buttons), I could put electrical tape on the underside of the white part to block the pink from shining through. If it's intended, then it looks great!

I honestly don't know the names of the parts, just some generic 3v leds soldered in parallel and a switch + wire recovered from a broken speaker.

The color is customizable. They are fixed right now, however i want to order some small rgb led control boards so i can make it spectrum cycle. They are low power leds so i dont think it will be that big of a problem, maybe a couple hours shorter battery life.
