The most popular anime right now is One Piece. It has been inspiring a lot of people, including me. This anime is like no other; you know all about pirates and sailing adventures? It’s got them! One Piece has everything under the sun: there are superpowers, zombies, ghosts, and a touch of romance. However, one thing that One Piece does not have is an anime guidebook.
Anime guidebooks are books that have episode summaries, character information, and interviews from the anime staff. These books are not only fun to read but they can also help you understand the anime better and anticipate what is going to happen next. Most of all, they make you an insider.
This is why I strongly believe that a One Piece guidebook should be made! It’s not like Japanese citizens don’t need help understanding their own country’s popular culture. It would also be great if the book was translated into other language so that those in America would still have a chance at understanding it.
Anime guides are a really popular niche in North America. The Anime Guidebook: Series 1 was published in 2007 and sold over 100,000 copies! (This guidebook is actually the first anime guidebook I ever read.)
If you want a great anime guidebook to One Piece, look no farther than http://OnePieceGuideBook.com It is an official website that has links to real-time fanart and even the movies!
There's one downside to this website: the site only has one entry, but I think it's definitely worth checking out.
